That's why, at the preparation stage, our men take the time to talk with you to make sure your breakables and valuables are taken out of harm's way, prized plants are covered or appropriately protected, and your outdoor furniture is moved and surfaces covered with plastic and canvas dropsheets. If your outdoor areas are in use, we move all furniture back at the end of each day. Each stage of the job, from preparation, to materials delivery, paint coats, right through to clean up, are signed off and approved by you. It's part of the AsNu Communication Promise. When the job is done, we take the time again to remove any trace of the works, clean up, and leave your room looking as good AsNu. A ten year warranty applies to all exterior work. Every single colour used on your project will be left with you in brand new one litre tins, to be used should touchups be required. Your AsNu painting project is divided into seven separate stages, to ensure that you are given the chance to inspect and approve each stage of your job. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your current stage of works, we will not proceed with any further sections of your project until you are 100% happy with the stage completed. It's part of of our Communication Promise to you - it's your house, so your opinion is the one that matters most. All stage approvals will be emailed to you so you have a permanent record.
Our Exterior House Painting ProcessFirst, if you have opted for the service, our Colour Consultant Rachel will help you create the perfect colour scheme for your home. Second, we will take you through a quality and quality inspection of the materials to be used at your home, to ensure that the correct materials and colours have been ordered and that all the materials meet the relevant building code standards for your planned project. Third, we will conduct a thorough preparation of all surfaces to be painted.We conduct thorough checks for the presence of asbestos and thorough lead safety testing and, if necessary, take steps to ensure that lead and asbestos removal is conducted in a safe manner. Fourth, we conduct a thorough 34 point Home Building Safety Inspection, in order to identify and bring to your attention any areas that may require attention to ensure the quality and longevity of your paint project. Fifth, we will finalise your coats, sanding between coats on windows and doors. Additional coats will be signed off where previously arranged on the contract. Sixth, we will conduct a thorough site clean of your property and take you through the completed project to ensure that all planned objectives have been achieved and that the quality of the work meets, or hopefully exceeds, your expectations. Last, we will apply a ten year warranty to your job, which includes annual inspections to ensure that your paint job is standing up to the test of time. AsNu leaves you with sealed, brand new 1L tins of every colour used on your job should repairs be needed over the ten year period.
